GET TO KNOW THE GUMBUYA HISTORY
Gumbuya World Theme Park was previously Gumbuya Park and opened in 1978 over an old pheasant farm! Local legend Bruno Crestani crafted the 16.8-metre-long, 7.6-metre-tall golden pheasant, Big Bruno, in 1981 over the span of 3 months! Big Bruno is a local favourite and can be seen from the motorway as you drive past!
Remebering Bruno Crestani 🕊️
Bruno Crestani's passed away on 26 July 2025. He leaves behind a legacy you can quite literally see and stand beside. He’ll always be part of Gumbuya World Theme Park and in the hearts of everyone who passes by or stops to admire the bird.

OUTBACK PRECINCT
Come on down to the Outback Precinct, among the koalas, for the full Gumbuya World Fair experience! Shop at one of our local business market stalls, meet some of our cutest critters like rabbits and lambs in Gumbo's Animal Farm and enjoy live music from some of Gippsland's best local artists!
