Wildlife Wanderers – Nature Play Playgroup for kids aged 0-7
Where wild friends, wandering feet and playful minds discover, play and connect.
Wildlife Wanderers is Gumbuya World's zookeeper-led nature play program for children aged 0 to 7 – and unlike any playgroup in the area, it comes with real animal encounters, outdoor exploration and hands-on wildlife education included in your Day Ticket. Every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during school terms, your little ones meet our amazing animals – from Little Penguins and Tasmanian Devils to Kangaroos – while learning about Australian wildlife, Indigenous culture, the environment and the natural world. On Fridays, kids also get access to Junior Rides.
This isn't your standard playgroup. This is nature play at a theme park.

How Wildlife Wanderers works
Join our Wildlife team every Wednesday, Thursday & Friday during the school term for an exciting adventure of discovery!
Led by our Wildlife Zookeepers and with active participation from family members, these sessions dive into the wonders of nature and wildlife in fun, engaging, and educational ways. Together, we’ll spark a deep love for the environment and all the incredible animal species that call it home.
